My goodness it starts early

Last week while getting T-boy's shoes on to go home from the garderie*:

- Mummy, there's still green cars at McDonald's.
- We can go to McDonald's? Please?
- One day we can go to McDonald's? You promise?

- T-boy, do you even know what McDonald's is?

- No. But we can go there?

* I'm not trying to be wanky by using the French word for daycare, but I never call it "daycare", even in English. It just looked wrong.
