So. Hello. How are things?

Me, well, apart from being busy, I've lost my writing voice a bit. A crisis of confidence. Which, you know, is not the best thing for someone who makes her living from writing. And not helped by reading this, which is exactly what I wanted to say in my last post, but instead of gentle and lovely mine came out as RULES! We have them! They must be obeyed! And I get upset when they are not!

So anyway and moving on ... here is what we did last weekend:

Late night arrival at a capsule hotel.

Followed by a day of shopping. (Me: one pair of pants. C: a suit, a jacket, a shirt, a scarf, two pairs of shoes. I may be forgetting a few other things, my mind started wandering after a while.)

In quite a big city.

Followed by a stay in a cute town further south.

That has a castle.

And cannons.

And was a good place to stay for a wedding.
