- Dog! (pointing to the dogs on his pyjamas)

- No papa, dog. Dog. Dog. (jabbing at pyjamas)

- Oui, un chien.

- No papa, dog. Dog. Dog. (more jabbing)

- Oui, un chien.

- No papa. Dog. Woof woof!

(Apologies if you don't think this is cute or funny. Sometimes I read other people's supposedly hilarious toddler stories, and they're not funny at all. But this is funny, right? The woof woof? To explain to his papa what a dog is? Cute! And funny! Right?!)
